What: MAD (Music, Arts, & Drama) Camp is for those who enjoy the arts! During the week, campers will experience a taste of music, art, and drama as they assemble the musical, The Emperor’s New Clothes. The week culminates with an evening performance! Hans Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes is a humorous fairy tale about a good-hearted but gullible king who is duped by cunning scoundrels who weave an invisible suit of clothes which "only the wise can see."

Who: MAD Camp is for those who will be entering 3rd-8th grade in the fall, or approximately ages 8-13. MAD Camp is directed by Len Langrick, Choir Director at UUCA. He is also music educator for Indian Creek School in Crownsville, as well as director of early childhood music education for the Children’s Chorus of Maryland.
When: Monday thru Friday, August 7-11. The camp runs from 9am to 4pm daily, except on Friday when there is early dismissal at 2pm. Campers and families return on Friday at 6pm for dinner and the musical performance! No childcare before or after camp days.
Cost/ Registration: $150 per camper. Registration begins March 5 UUCA members.
