The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate our Partner(s) with cost-effective learning resources for their membership, employees and the partners under their umbrella. Learning resources provided by CYC Assets are in the form of educational webinars that can be viewed in a live or recorded format and are presented by professionals backed with both academic qualifications and front-line experience working with children, youth and families.
Terms of Agreement
Fees
A yearly fee of $200. is paid to CYC Assets through Pay Pal, e-bank transfer, cheque or Square payment system. Your organization, school board or agency will be assigned a specific code to access the 20% discount on webinars for a period of 12 months from the date of payment. This code will be granted once payment is processed. The discount will not be effective on “special pricing” webinars that may happen time to time.
Group Payments for webinars may be arranged by contacting CYC Assets, (info@cycassets.ca), and the organization will be provided a code for the attendees to register. For group registrations, you will be required to send email addresses of all you wish to register. Your organization will be invoiced for each registration, and you will be sent a code for your staff to access the designated webinar. No refunds are issued for non- attendance of webinars. Non-attenders will receive the link to the recording and the survey/KAT for a period of 30 days.
Webinars
CYC Assets webinars will be identified by both the Domain of Practice and the knowledge level; novice, intermediate, or advanced. The Presenters will provide information that is pertinent to the field of Child and Youth Care, from a CYC perspective. Each webinar will be two hours in length. Some topics may have more than one part or level for completion, however, certificates will be granted per webinar.
Certificates of Completion
Each registered webinar participant within your organization will be provided with a Certificate of Completion once they have passed the Knowledge Assessment Tool with a passing grade of 60%. Retakes are possible. The KAT consists of 5 multiple choice questions based on the learning outcomes of the webinar. This survey and tool are sent to them immediately following the live webinar. For those accessing a recorded webinar, the survey and KAT is sent as separate links, with 30 days of access.
Holders of the Certificate of Completion also have an option to have a designated supervisor assess their skills in using the knowledge and/or strategies from the webinar. The summary and the learning outcomes should be presented to the assessor before skill demonstration. The supervisor can then sign the bottom of the certificate with a short explanation of how they demonstrated the learning.
