GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR CANDIDATES
APPLICATION REVIEW AND INTERVIEWS
We expect there will be more applications than positions on the Board of Directors, therefore this should be looked upon as a competitive process. The Nominating Committee will review all applications, and then will hold phone and/or in-person interviews with a select group of candidates. The majority of the in-person interviews will take place during the USTANE Board meeting, scheduled for June 9-10, 2017 in Newport, RI. Candidates will be notified no later than May 14, 2017 if they are being asked to join us for an interview; all interviewed candidates will be notified in a timely manner of the committee’s decision. Candidates will be responsible for all expenses associated with their interview.
