Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2017 Veterans’ Voices Storytelling Project, a partnership with the MOTH Community Program workshop. A training workshop will be held April 27-29, 2017 at Camp Ripley, near Little Falls, MN. Lodging and meals will be provided. Following successful completion of the training workshop, storytellers will have additional public performance opportunties throughout Minnesota in 2017.
Eligible applicants must be a current or former military service member living in Minnesota and have an interest in developing skills as a storyteller, public performer, speaker, and facilitator.
Please note: Humanities Center staff, board members, fellows, consultants, and past participants of the 2016 Veterans' Voices Storytelling Project are ineligible to apply.
Applications are due no later than March 31, 2017
Notification will be made no later than April 12, 2017.
While applications will only be reviewed based on the required questions, the Minnesota Humanities Center is committed to inviting a diverse cohort, to include race/ethnicity, gender, a diversity of lived experience and/or the overall geographic reach of the cohort.
