    • TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

      1. This tournament is open to all TNBA, USBC members, and will be operated under the tournament rules of TNBA, USBC. Unsanctioned USBC bowlers may participate in the tournament by purchasing unattached USBC membership cards. Any entrant who does not hold or has not applied for TNBA membership prior to bowling will be disqualified. Unattached TNBA membership cards may be purchased at the site at a cost of $35.00 Each. Unattached USBC card may be purchased at a cost of $35.00.
      2. Final entries and re-entries will close at Last Squad, Sunday, December 01, 2024.
      3. All fees, in the form of money orders or certified checks ONLY, or cash (at the tournament site ONLY), must accompany the entry blank. No fee will be refunded. Entry blanks must show the full names and addresses of each bowler. Any blank improperly filled out, improperly verified, or with missing signatures, averages, or the improper amount of fees will not be accepted, but will be returned to the sender, at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
      4. Teams shall be composed of one man and one woman.
      5. Entrants will use the following averages in the order listed: (a) Highest USBC sanctioned league (book) average based on minimum of 21 games for the 2023-2024 season; (b) no average for the 2023-2024 season, use the highest current USBC sanctioned league average of 21 games or more (with a verified league sheet) (c) If no average for (a) or (b), entrant will bowl scratch USBC Rule No. 319B.  Do not use Summer or Sport League averages. Challenge averages will be used with their conversions and if that conversion is the highest 21 game average. Ten pin rule is waived.
      6. It shall be each bowler’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of his or her average in handicap or classified tournaments, whether originally submitted by the bowler, his or her captain or others. Failure to use the proper average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than actual average thereby resulting in a lower classification or more handicap. Prize winnings shall be based on the submitted average if it is higher than the actual average. Any protest or appeal involving eligibility or playing rules must be in writing and briefly stated Rule329. Errors in scoring must be reported to the Tournament Director’s office within 24 hours after games are rolled.
      7. Scores bowled in the Mixed Doubles Tournament DO NOT APPLY TO ALL EVENTS. This is a separate tournament.
      8. Handicap will be 80% in each event from 220. Handicap will be calculated on an individual basis. (a) Bowlers will certify their scores as being correct at the completion of each game.
      9. The Tournament Director reserves the right to accept or reject any substitute. Once a substitute has been made and upon the sub rolling the first ball, that sub MUST COMPLETE THE SERIES OF GAMES IN PROGRESS, except in the case of injury or disability. Substitutes must bowl in the position of the original entrant as shown on the official scoresheet and all rules of the tournament likewise apply to all substitutes.
      10. MULTIPLE ENTRY: Bowlers may enter the Mixed Doubles as many times as they wish except that you may place only once with the same partner (Highest score to count), but as many times as you are on the prize list with a change of partners.
      11. Entrants who have qualified for a prize of $600 or more in any event in a Tournament within the previous 12-month period shall, prior to bowling any event, report to the Tournament Director the actual score, position won, and amount of prize, for possible re-rating. Any rerating will be done prior to the entrant bowling. USBC 319B&E APPLIES to both male and female entrants.
      12. Entrants shall report for check-in at least one hour before scheduled starting time and shall present their TNBA, USBC cards upon request.
      13. Entries will be scheduled as received and when more than one choice is shown, only at the times indicated on the application blank. However, when dates and times are assigned by the Tournament Director and not refused by the person responsible for submitting the entry prior to preparation of the schedule, NO FEES SHALL BE REFUNDED.
      14. The Tournament Director reserves the right to disqualify any entrant not in compliance with the rules of the tournament, the USBC and/or TNBA, Premature termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency or emergency causes relating thereto or therefrom fire, natural disaster or any other reason beyond the control of the TNBA Central Regional Tournament shall cause, to the extent required thereby, all prizes, to be prorated in accordance with the number of entrants who have bowled in each of the respective events up to the time of such termination.
      15. There will be at least one (1) prize for every 10 entries.
      16. Pros can participate in this tournament. Only one(1) per team.
      17. Sports averages are not allowed in this tournament.
      18. No 10 Pin Rule, Rule 319a WILL BE WAIVED in this tournament.
      19. No outside Jackpots allowed at the tournament site. In doing so, you will be disqualified and forfeit all tournament prize winnings.
