Terms and Conditions:
Learn to Swim Bookings and Payments
•Lessons are run in line with the Churchie school terms.
•Missed classes are non-refundable. A make-up class will be offered subject to availability. Failure to provide notification will result in forfeit of that lesson and no make-up lesson will be provided.
•Notify us of any absence with as much notice as possible, either by phone or email
•Due to the nature of the program, makeup lessons/credits are not available for Holiday intensive classes or Clinics.
•Any make-up lessons will be conducted within the term and will not be transferred over to the following term, except in the case of extenuating circumstances, determined at the discretion of management only.
•Lessons are not conducted on public holidays. Fees are adjusted prior to payment and commencement of the term for those students whose lessons may be affected.
•Fees and charges are reviewed annually and are subject to change each financial year.
•Classes and enrolments are ‘rolled’ over from term to term unless notice is given by parent/guardian via email thatswimmer/s is not continuing the next term. Aquatic Centre management shall contact parents 3 weeks before the end of term regarding class enrolment continuing into the next term. Preference for class days/times is to those currently swimming. Invoices shall be sent in the last week of the current term for the rollover term and are to be paid within 2 weeks of the new term commencing.
•Churchie Aquatics reserves the right to change class level or time based on class numbers or operational requirements. As much notice as possible will be provided.
General Conduct
•To ensure the safety, wellbeing, and successful conduct of the students as a group, or individually in swimming lessons/squads, staff may seek to discipline students (warnings through to removal from the water) should inappropriate behaviour occur.•There is no running, no ball games, no bombing, no glass, no diving unless under supervision of staff.•Only children participating in lessons under the supervision on Churchie Aquatic staff are allowed to enter the water.•Persons suffering from a communicable disease such as gastrointestinal illness or skin infections should not use the pool.•Children under 5 years are to remain within arms-reach of a parent /guardian.•Children under 10 years are supervised by staff/parent once entering the complex. Please ensure timely pickup after class.
Cancellation Policy
•A minimum two (2) weeks’ notice must be given for cancellation of attendance to further lessons. A refund, minus the two-week notification period, will be provided.
•In the event of an electrical storm, all facilities will be evacuated for public safety. Churchie Aquatics will endeavour to alert all families via SMS and email if classes are cancelled due to electrical storms.
Photo and Video release.
•Churchie Aquatics reserves the right to use images or video captured during any given lesson of students and family, for use in all promotional media/marketing purposes.
•Parents cannot take photos/video without the written consent from the parents of all children attending the class.
