DESCRIPTION:
The objective of the Maryland 4-H Horse Judging Clinic is to provide an opportunity for Maryland 4-H youth, Maryland 4-H volunteers, and UME Educators to acquire skills and knowledge about conformation and judging of horses. Participants will hear talks from Extension and industry professionals with special breakout sessions for 1) beginners, 2) advanced, and 3) volunteer/coach tracks. We will be utilizing video classes to practice judging skills after attending the morning workshops. Participants will learn valuable information that they can use when showing their own horses. Adults interested in coaching judging teams are invited to enroll in the volunteer/coach track
FEES:
Registration for the clinic is $10.00, which includes snacks and materials. Registrations are to be submitted by Monday, March 27, 2017. Registrations submitted after the due date will be charged an additional $5. Registration fees will be refundable if notification is given one week in advance from the event.
Registration must be accompanied by a check or paid by credit card.
If not using the credit card, please send checks in the amount of $10.00 payable to the “Maryland 4-H Foundation.”

- Coaches/Volunteers - Coaching a team or thinking of starting a team? This is the track for you!
DRESS:
All sessions will be held in indoor classrooms, so wear clothes that will keep you comfortable indoors.
