Concurrent enrollment is defined as degree-seeking students currently enrolled at Belmont University (full-time or part-time status) who intend on taking additional degree applicable courses at another U.S. accredited college or university during any semester, including summer.
Maximum Credit Hours: Once a student has matriculated to Belmont, he/she may not take more than 18 credit hours at another institution. Exceptions to this policy include Belmont approved programs on other campuses and approved study abroad programs.
Receiving Grades: It is the student’s responsibility to contact the concurrent institution to request that an official transcript be sent to Belmont's Office of the Registrar once the course(s) is completed and the grade(s) is posted to the transcript. Transferred grades of D+ or lower may not be used for major, minor, or general education requirements. Refer to the Transfer Policy in the current catalog.
