MBCP’s mission is to accelerate bird conservation efforts in Maryland through the facilitation of diverse partnerships. We aim to foster a high level of collaboration across public and private sectors, and actively work to increase our member organizations’ capacity and resources. Through this partnership, we will find innovative solutions to the current and future threats to our birds, implement projects and goals, and increase success in raising funds for Maryland bird conservation efforts.
We are a member-driven organization; our partners are actively involved in our committees and efforts. The MBCP creates a voluntary network of local, state, federal and independent organizations that share and support common goals. Membership is free and open to organizations at this time. Individuals should contact us about partner or volunteer opportunities. Our policies & operating procedures are available on our website.
