Terms and Conditions
I understand that Creative Career Academy (CCA) is a Christian based art, technology, and design program. Our Christian environment allows us to share our Christian faith with our students, parents, prospective clients, etc.
CCA does not discriminate based on religion, race, color, sex, age, national or ethic origin, or handicap. To fulfill our mission and vision our staff & volunteers strive for Mark 2: 16 - 17, welcoming students / parents (believers and non- believers) from different walks of life, cultures, and diversities.
We have many students who attend who may not share our faith and others who do share our faith. Now, to stay true to our mission and vision statement students projects/assignments should not promote against our faith as a Christian program. As a parent, you are aware that your child or teen is in a Christian program environment (whether you are a believer or non-believer), therefore, projects should not include anything that contradicts our Christian program environment such as projects that promotes: magic/potions/spells, promotes killing, shooting weapons, stealing, idolatry, goes against the 10 Commandments, evolution, abominations, promotes ungodly character, or contradicts the Bible. Course assignments may be changed at the discretion of the staff / director/ head of program to make sure assignments do not contradict our faith based program environment. We are not a secular program, so projects and assignments must not contradict our faith based environment. Refunds or partial payments are not given for changed assignments.
Student Saving Files
Students are responsible for getting their own work each week by using a USB Flash drive. Or students who use their own laptops, will remain responsible for their own files and must take the initiative to retrieve files given for class. Note that Creative Career Academy computers undergo maintenance which includes deleting old files. If students damage belonging to Creative Career Academy, and property/materials are not in working condition, parents will be responsible for replacing property/materials.
Need to reschedule?
Camps: Please give at least 2 week notice. If you child or teen cannot attend camp then you may apply your camp as a credit toward a new camp date with the approval of program counselor. Refunds are not given for camps.
“No call, No Email, No show” - No Rescheduling
Camps: If you “no call, no email, no show” within 2 weeks of camp then we cannot reschedule you for a new camp date. Camps are carefully planned for seating and for teacher recruiting. Refunds are not given for camps.
Seating is reserved when tuition is paid for camp week or workshop event. CCA is not obligated to reserve a seat if tuition is not paid.
You May Make Arrangements
If the student is taking classes on-campus you may make arrangements with other families to be responsible for your children for pick up and drop off. You must inform a CCA Representative in writing with the person responsible for your child/children and their contact information.
If projects contradict our Christian program environment on-campus or online, or if the student is disruptive and corrections require more than 3 occurrences, parents will be asked to remove their children from the program without refund. If violence or profanity, racial, or rude language is used, parents will not be given a warning, student will have to be removed immediately from the program with out refund.
Cell Phone Policy
Your child or teen will not be allowed to use cell phones while in classes. Cell phone can be used on lunch hours only or can be used in safety emergency. With health emergency (example: asthma, allergic reaction, etc) staff should be notified by the student so we can call the parent and/or 911-ambulance.
Creative Career Academy will not be liable for any failure or delay in services caused by reasons beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, snow days, earthquakes, floods, fire, loss of utilities, and other disasters.
Field trip: Roswell, Ga Day Camp Only
If you selected "yes" under the attend field trip section. You agree to let your child go with Creative Career Academy staff to the bowling location.
Field trips are not mandatory but are a great way to give students a special treat for the week. Field trips are great because our camps are majority inside. If you don't want your child to attend the field trip(s) you will have to pick up your child on Field Trip Day. Field trip times on average will be 1hr and 30mins. Depending on the maturity of your child or teen we can request without warning that the camper does not attend field trip. This is for the safety of the child and staff.
I understand and agree, in consideration for participation in the program(s) I have registered for, I hereby for my-self or my child(ren) waive and release all rights and waive Jessica Murray, Creative Career Academy from any and all claims, from all losses, injury, damages, fees, and other expenses, demands and actions of any nature whether present or future, anticipated or unanticipated, known or unknown that result from my participation in camp class or practice of camp/ field trips/ workshops outside of class.
