Media Release for Students in Special Education Classes
Throughout the year, Glenpool Public Schools are periodically photographed or videotaped for educational purposes. School publications, the district website, classroom webpages, official school sites on Facebook and/or Twitter post pictures of students and staff as appropriate. In addition, the news media makes periodic requests for photographing or videotaping programs and/or students. Therefore, the permission of parents/guardians is being requested prior to the use of the name, picture, and/or words of students.
Every student has their own device to use in class and at home for instruction. Instructional content will be delivered from the Student Portal and other educational sites. Teachers will deliver live and pre-recorded video instruction to students both in class and remotely at home. Students may be involved in live classroom recordings. Students will connect remotely with teachers and their classmates using video and audio features for remote classroom learning.
In establishing a classroom webpage that is identified as serving students in special education, I understand that allowing my child's picture to be posted on this particular webpage may also identify my child as having a disability. I agree to allow my child's picture be posted on a classroom webpage associated with special education services.
An individual form must be completed for each student in your family receiving special education services.
