CRS 2019 MEDIA GUIDELINES & APPLICATION
Download FAQ's Here
All journalists/media representatives wishing to obtain credentials for on-site press passes to cover Country Radio Seminar 2019 must complete the following media application. Outlets wishing to credential more than one individual must register each person. Registration does not guarantee that you will receive credentials. You will be notified by email in January the status of your credential request.
It is without question our intent to accommodate all media while remaining true to the organization’s objective to secure media coverage for the event itself. Therefore, the organization and its media relations committee established very specific criteria and guidelines to assist them in making the very difficult decision as to whom to issue credentials.
Credentials for the event are limited to media who meet the specific criteria below. The CRS Media Committee reserves the right to review all submissions and compile the final accredited list of registration packages. All decisions are final. We would like to be able to credential every outlet that wants to participate in CRS; however, space limitations, security requirements, and strict restrictions on access make it impossible to accommodate all requests.
Media will be approved and admitted only under the condition that CRS 2019 and its related events will be covered.
Approved credentials will fall under the following categories:
Trade Publications & Specialty Radio Publications
• Refers to publications serving the music and/or radio industries
Television (Local, Regional, National and Syndicated) with a Business Focus
• Refers to television outlets catering to a business niche market
National Publications with a Business Focus (with a circulation of 100,000 or more)
• Refers to print publications catering to a business niche market
Internet Media: The CRS Media Committee reserves the right to review an outlet’s website and/or social media and base decisions on their following, traffic, and significance of coverage.
• Refers to an established, viable industry website with primary content being music-related and targeting a business audience (not solely artist-driven, fan-based or gossip-driven).
• Outlet must provide an average number of monthly website hits.
• Refers to freelance writers on assignment for an existing radio or business-oriented media outlet
** Syndicated Radio and Affiliated Newswires are NOT eligible for media credentials. Representatives from any radio station or radio-affiliated company are required to register through Country Radio Seminar at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com or 615-327-4487.
Television taping is not permitted at any event or performance without the advance, specific permission of Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. and in direct coordination with the artist representative (when covering an artist appearance or performance). Television crews are NOT permitted backstage.
Any and all media attending CRS 2019 are requested to forward current tear sheets, clippings or video clips (as they relate to CRS 2019 coverage) to AristoPR at email@example.com.
Credentialed photographers agree that their photographs will ONLY be used by the media outlet(s) for which they are credentialed. Please keep in mind CRS 2019 is a RADIO event and complimentary pass registration is based upon pre-established qualified criteria. By accepting a credential to Country Radio Seminar 2019, photographers agree that photos will ONLY be used to accompany business slanted editorial content relating to CRS 2019 events. Any photographer found selling their photographs for profit will be denied future CRS credentials. The PHOTO ACCESS credential badge provides access to CRS-related events for still photos and/or B-roll only (limited stage front time: 2 songs per artist). Admittance to luncheons and New Faces of Country Music® Show, will be granted after meals have been served and prior to artist performances. Photographers are NOT permitted backstage.
