CRS 2018 MEDIA GUIDELINES
All journalists/media representatives wishing to obtain credentials for on-site press passes to cover Country Radio Seminar 2018 must complete the following media application. Outlets wishing to credential more than one individual must register each person (i.e. photographers and crew members need to be registered individually). Due to CRS falling earlier in the year (Feb. 5-7) as well as up against the holidays, please note that the deadline to register is Dec. 6, 2017; allowing adequate time for the processing of credential confirmations and credential production. Registration does not guarantee that you will receive credentials. You will be notified by email on or before January 15, 2018, the status of your credential request. If you have any questions, or if you have not been contacted by then about your registration status, you should contact Christy Walker-Watkins at Christy@aristomedia.com or Cheri Cranford at Cheri@aristomedia.com.
Credentials for the event are limited to media who meet the specific criteria below. The CRS Media Committee reserves the right to review all submissions and compile the final accredited list of registration packages. All decisions are final.
Media will be approved and admitted only under the condition that CRS 2018 and its related events will be covered. Approved credentials will fall under the following categories:
Trade Publications & Specialty Radio Publications: Refers to publications serving the music and/or radio industries
Television (Local, Regional, National and Syndicated) with a Business Focus: Refers to television outlets catering to a business niche market
National Publications with a Business Focus (with circulation of 100,000 or more): Refers to print publications catering to a business niche market
Internet Media: Refers to an established, viable industry website with primary content being music-related and targeting a business audience (not solely artist-driven, fan-based or gossip-driven)
**The CRS Media Committee reserves the right to review of outlet’s website and/or social media and base decisions on their following, traffic, and significance of coverage. Outlet must provide average number of monthly website hits
Freelance Writers: Refers to freelance writers on assignment for an existing radio or business-oriented media outlet
Representatives from any radio station or radio-affiliated company are required to register through Country Radio Seminar at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com or 615-327-4487.
Television taping is not permitted at any event or performance without the advance, specific permission of Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. and in direct coordination with the artist representative (when covering an artist appearance or performance). Television crews are NOT permitted backstage. Any and all media attending CRS 2018 are requested to forward current tear sheets, clippings or video clips (as they relate to CRS 2018 coverage) to AristoPR at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Credentialed photographers agree that their photographs will ONLY be used by the media outlet(s) for which they are credentialed. Please keep in mind CRS 2018 is a RADIO event and complimentary pass registration is based upon pre-established qualified criteria. By accepting a credential to Country Radio Seminar 2018, photographers agree that photos will ONLY be used to accompany business slanted editorial content relating to CRS 2018 events. Any photographer found selling their photographs for profit will be denied future CRS credentials. The PHOTO ACCESS credential badge provides access to CRS-related events for still photos and/or B-roll only (limited stage front time: 2 songs per artist). Admittance to luncheons and New Faces of Country Music® Show, will be granted after meals have been served and prior to artist performances. Photographers are NOT permitted backstage.
MEDIA ROOM GUIDELINES
Located at Omni Nashville, this area is designated for credentialed media and working publicists to use as an area to conduct artist interviews. Interview booths operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We request that you schedule interviews in advance. There will not be any security, so please do not leave your gear/personal belongings unattended. In order to keep the area quiet, we request that journalists and publicists exit the media wing between interviews. Media room hours will be released closer to the event.
Photos taken by the official CRS photographer will be posted daily. Should you have any specific advance photo requests, please contact Christy Watkins at email@example.com or 615-269-7071 ext. 124.
Confirmation letters regarding the status of registrations will be issued in mid-January. All decisions as to the status of your registration and credentials are final. Being credentialed for a previous CRS does not guarantee a credential for CRS 2018. We request that you do not schedule any advance on-site interviews until you have received confirmation of your approved credential.
Should you have any questions regarding the CRS 2018 media/press credential guidelines, contact Christy Watkins at firstname.lastname@example.org / 615-269-7071 or Cheri Cranford at email@example.com / 615-269-7071.
