What better way to celebrate your child’s birthday then by having the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame all to yourself! Have fun on the Virtual Sports Simulator, take a guided tour of our fascinating sports history, and be inspired by the stories of New Brunswick’s sport legends.
The Hands on Heritage experience gives youth and families exclusive, behind the scenes access to the fascinating world of curating in a museum while making the connection between cultural artefacts and New Brunswick’s rich sporting heritage. The exhibit speaks to the value of artifacts, such as trophies and medals, in telling the story of our province’s most prominent athletes.
Hours of Availability
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame's Main Gallery is available outside of museum operation hours and its Boardroom is available during office hours and museum operation hours.
Museum Operation Hours Summer (June, July, August)
Tuesday-Saturday | 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Office Hours Year-round
Monday-Friday | 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
If early set up and/or take down are required, additional charges may be incurred.
Additional services are available upon request and at an extra cost.
A deposit of half the agreed upon rental cost is required to reserve the date. No refund will be issued for cancellations made within five days of the event.
Special Event Liquor Licenses
All clients planning to serve alcohol are required to supply a liquor permit as per the New Brunswick Liquor Control Act and provide proof of liability insurance. A copy of your license must be displayed during your event. A liquor license may also be obtained through your caterer. It is illegal to serve alcohol on the premises without a valid license.

Clients will be responsible for all clean-up after an event and must be completed immediately following the event. All set up and waste as a result of catering, including food and bar services, must be removed from the premises immediately following the event. Failure to complete cleanup will result in additional charges at the rate of $50 per hour. Clients are responsible to communicate the cleanup policy with caterers and event contractors.
Smoking is not permitted within the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame.
Replacement of NBSHF Equipment
Replacement of lost or damaged equipment belonging to the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame will be added to the final rental invoice at full replacement cost.
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame reserves the right to refuse a booking for any reason, including, but not limited to, availability constraints.
