• Vehicle Prestart

    Online Checklist
    Vehicle Prestart
  • The Vehicle Prestart Checklist must be completed at the commencement of the use of the vehicle and:

    - Every Monday onwards (Sedans and Utes)

    - Every operational day (Cranes, Crane Trucks, Forklifts and Trailers)

    Example:

Long use - If the sedan or ute is being used by the operator on a regular basis they only need to complete the checklist when they take possession of the vehicle and every Monday thereafter.

Short use - If the sedan or ute is to be used by several other operators in short succession, each operator will need to complete a check each time they take possession of the vehicle.

The above example does not pertain to specialised vehicles and plant. All vehicles, other than sedans and utes (crane trucks, cranes, forklifts and trailers etc...) require a Vehicle Prestart to be completed daily.

    Client / Principle Contractor Requirements

Where the Client or PC requires a different schedule to the above, all staff must follow the directions of the Client / PC.

Example: PC requires a Vehicle Prestart to be completed each day.

Do you need to review the vehicles prestart history?
