• Mentoring Programs Registry

  • "Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations. Ultimately, mentoring connects a young person to personal growth and development, and social and economic opportunity. Yet one in three young people will grow up without this critical asset". (Mentor, National Mentoring Partnership)

Volunteers are looking for mentoring opportunities and parents are seeking mentors for their children. While there are several mentoring programs in Greater Greensboro, there is no one central place for these connections.

Towards that end, United Way of Greater Greensboro Mentoring Matters Initiative has created a registry of all youth mentoring programs.
