TOURNAMENT RULES: USA ARCHERY including USAA World Archery rules effective April 1, 2018 will be enforced. Noted exceptions below

CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY: USA Archery membership listing Arizona as your residence is required for you to compete for State Championship titles and awards. Guests (Non-USAA and/or Non-Arizonans) are welcome to shoot in a guest category. No Awards to non Arizona guest division
CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 in Elimination Rounds. Medals will be given for top three scores in ranking round for each division. Champion is the winner of the elimination round.
RANKING ROUND: 72 arrow Ranking Round will determine the Elimination Round Brackets Single Distance
Recurves/Barebow (or basic Compound Genesis type bow) shoot 122cm Target Face
Compound shoot 80cm 6 ring Target Face
Recurve Junior/Senior/Collegiate shoot 70m
Recurve Cadet/Masters shoot 60m
Recurve Cub shoot 50m
Recurve Bowman shoot 30m
Compound Cadet/Junior/Senior/Masters/Collegiate shoot 50m
Compound Cub shoot 30m
Compound Bowman shoot 25m
Barebow Senior/Junior/Cadet/Masters shoot 50m
Barebow Bowman/Cub shoot 30m
shoot in elimination rounds to be eligible for for awards, except if the division has only 1 archer, elimination round will determine state champion
Mandatory Elimination Rounds
Recurve/Barebow uses set scoring
Compound uses cumulative scoring 5 ends
Distances and target faces are the same as the ranking round, Any division with only 1 archer will use qualifying score for championship and do not shoot in elimination rounds
Shade and Chairs: There will be shade for Archers and Spectators; however you should bring your own chairs. There is limited bleacher seating for Spectators.

Put away tournament equipment (all help is appreciated)
Our goal is to run the tournament as close as possible to this schedule but situations such as weather, protests or equipment failures may require us to modify the schedule. Announcements will be made at the Field.

You will be asked the following questions, they must be filled out on line

Age: ¨ Bowman (Participants may compete as a “Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday)
¨ Cub (Participants may compete as a “Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday)
¨ Cadet (Participants may compete as a “Cadet” through the calendar year of their 17th birthday)
¨ Junior (Participants may compete as a “Junior” through the calendar year of their 20th birthday)
¨ Masters 50+ (Participants may compete as a “Master 50” beginning in the calendar year of their 50th birthday)
Masters 60+ (Participants may compete as a "Master 60" beginning in the calendar year of their 60th birthday)
Masters 70+ (Participants may compete as a "Master 70" beginning in the calendar year of their 70th birthday)
¨ Senior (any age)
Collegiate Archer Division: Must be a registered member of a collegiate archery team.
USAA Membership Information: Your membership number and expiration date are required at registration.
USAA Membership must be current at time of registration AND tournament.
Championship – Arizona JOADS ¨ $55.00 (eligible for Title and Award)
Championship – Arizona Adults ¨ $60.00 (eligible for Title and Award)
Open (Guest Category - no awards) ¨ $70.00 (for USAA members not listing Arizona as their residence.)
LATE FEE: ¨ $30.00, Add late fee, if we will receive forms after Sept 25, 2018
Multiple Archer Family ¨ $150.00, for immediate families of 3 or 4 archers
Archers may be asked to show their USAA membership card at tournament check-in.
To be eligible for an award, Arizona MUST BE your designated home state with USA Archery AND USA Archery Arizona at time of registration and competition.
