Empower College & Career Center Commitment Checklist

We are committed to providing long-term support to the Empower College & Career Center located in Jackson County, Georgia. We have checked below the areas to which our organization will commit over the next ten years and we have attached this checklist to our formal letter of commitment.

Participate in program evaluations made by outside agencies.Inform teachers of new methods, procedures, products and technologiesGive classroom presentations.Recommend safety procedures for the program based on industry standards.Provide field trips to industry sites.

Help obtain resources for instructional purposes. (training manuals, etc).Evaluate equipment and facilities based on industry standards.

Secure funds for equipment and supplies.Donate Fund in support of specific support.Help increase public awareness and appreciation for the College and Career Academies across government arenas.

Assist in determining nomination for scholarship programs.Establish awards programs to recognize students, employers, or others for their achievements.

Offer specialized training programs for teachers.Provide or arrange industry internships to provide opportunities for teacher to upgrade their knowledge and skills.Identify resource persons to assist teachers in the classroom.Serve on related Business Engagement Committee.Serve on system Advisory Committee.

Assist in developing criteria for competitive skill events.Judge competitive skill contests.Participate in student recognition and awards programs.Sponsor student scholarshipsParticipate in Student Leadership Banquet.Career Mentor
