Camp Tecumseh YMCA believes that our number one job is the safety and protection of the guests, particularly the children, who attend our programs. As such we take a very proactive approach to preventing abuse and spotting signs of abuse. In order to do this we have policies in place to protect children from physical, sexual and emotional abuse as well as neglect. We take our role in protecting children seriously and have a zero tolerance policy for anything that even resembles abuse or neglect.
Any employee who is found to be operating outside of our policy, even if no abuse is discovered will be immediately terminated with no chance of rehire.
If you or someone you know struggles with child sexual abuse or if you know of a child who has been or is being abused, we encourage you to call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453).
I commit to the safety and protection of the children at Camp Tecumseh YMCA and understand that I will receive a full child abuse prevention training after my hire. I commit to following the rules and policies that Camp Tecumseh YMCA has established at all times.
