Imagine Swimming Statement of Job Applicant

 

Imagine Swimming strives to attract the highest quality employees. I understand that as part of the application process for employment, inquiries will be made concerning my prior employment, activities, and character. This inquiry may include information in my background regarding prior criminal convictions and/or information in my background related to minors. I fully consent and authorize all such inquires. I authorize Imagine Swimming to request my employment record from any former employer(s). I further understand that inquires may be made concerning my prior experience and employment. I waive any right to claim that any request or investigation is an invasion of my privacy, since any request or investigation is made with my consent and it is in my interest that I am considered for employment. I also release Imagine Swimming from any liability regarding sharing with third parties any child abuse and/or sexual harassment information gathered in this background check or observed during any future employment at Imagine Swimming. In the event that I am employed by Imagine Swimming, I will comply with all policies set forth in the Employee Handbook and with any other policies established from time to time by the school.

I understand that Imagine Swimming will take any allegations or suspicions of misconduct seriously and I agree to report all actual or suspected misconduct with any child attending Imagine Swimming immediately to management. I agree and understand that if employed, there is no contract and my employment would be solely “employment at will”, giving Imagine Swimming the right to terminate my employment at any time without cause or notice. No statement, whether written or oral, by any Imagine Swimming staff other than a written statement signed by the owners of the company, Lars Merseburg & Casey Barrett, may vary the foregoing.
