The effect of recording a release of lien bond shall be to release the real property described in the notice of claim of lien from the lien and any action brought to recover the amount claimed. Should a court “perfect” the lien by declaring the claimed amount due to be valid, the bond may stand in place of the property owner. For this reason, it is quite common that approval on release of lien bond will require cash collateral.nAll court and lien bond submissions require court documents for approval.
