  • This form must be submitted by Tuesday, May 30.
The current session ends June 22. The next session of classes begins July 5 and ends August 22. To guarantee a place in the July/August 2017 session, students must pay the $2,240 tuition in full by June 2. Please remember only those students who wish to study full-time will be accepted into the program. We are limiting re-enrollment of returning students to those who pay by June 2.
SPONSORED STUDENTSStudents whose governments or companies pay their bills must return the re-enrollment form stating they will return for the July/August session. (This means all sponsored students, including any sponsored by their governments.) Students with financial problems should contact the office.
CANCELLATIONS If you pay the tuition and decide later not to attend, you must inform us by email at esl@rice.edu no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 2. Refunds requested between June 2 and June 30 will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. By paying the tuition you are indicating to us that you will definitely return. Students withdrawing after 4 p.m. on June 30 and before 4 p.m. on the 10th day of class will receive a refund of one-third of their tuition.
F-1 VISA STUDENTS TRAVELING DURING BREAK. If you need to have your I-20 signed or want help with immigration matters, you must make an appointment to see Pamela Howard before the end of the day of the last day of class, June 22.
