Mission Statement of Regina Catholic Schools

The Regina Catholic School Division will work with the community and local church to provide a quality Catholic education that fosters academic excellence and the development of informed, responsible citizens.
Teacher Application Requirements

We welcome applicants who are committed to Catholic education and who value diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.

Certification:
- Hold a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
- Applicants from outside Saskatchewan must contact the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB), 204–3775 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK, S4S 6W8 to confirm certification eligibility.
Faith Commitment:
- Demonstrate exemplary character and a willingness to support Catholic faith formation in the school community.
- Respect for Catholic teachings is expected, regardless of personal religious affiliation.
Religious Education:
- Have completed two university-level courses in Religious Education, Theology, Scripture, Christian Philosophy, or Family Life with a Christian orientation, OR
- Complete the Growing in Wisdom and Grace program within two years of employment.
Professional and Spiritual Growth:
- Engage in ongoing development through retreats, in-services, and workshops.
- Reasonable accommodation will be made to support inclusive participation.

Signing Incentive Opportunity

Regina Catholic Schools is pleased to offer a Signing Incentive for qualified teaching candidates. This incentive is designed to help new teachers transition into their careers while committing to serving in our division.

Program Details:
- This is an incentive, not a bursary.
- Eligible candidates commit to teaching with Regina Catholic Schools for a minimum of two years.
- Employment must be maintained in good standing with satisfactory references.
- Teachers will be placed on the salary grid according to their current class and step according to recognized years of teaching experience.
- If you are currently teaching at another school division you may be eligable for this Signing Incentive Opportunity.
Eligibility:
- Hold a valid Saskatcewan Professional A teaching certificate
- Registered with the SPTRB
- Successfully completed a French Education Program (i.e. Baccalauréat en éducation française (Le Bac) OR are a self-decared Indigenous teacher
