Consultations include the following:

Preconsultation phone call and booking to establish how I can best help you

Consultation

- Practical session using demo dolls and your baby/child where possible.
15min Follow up for all consults 1hour+

Please note: during the consultations we will be using “demo dolls”, if you are uncomfortable with dolls please let me know and we will work another way around this step.
Carrier Bundle Special

This package includes the following;

Cost: $45 for booking, and then the balance to value of carrier (total cost = RRP of carrier you choose) plus travel if applicable (Please ask for current rates)

Cost: $80 plus travel if applicable (Please ask for current travel rates)

Do you, or your children you wish to carry, have any medical/health issues which may affect how they are carried e.g. hip dysplasia, back pain, pelvic floor or abdominal issues, low muscle tone, premature etc?*
Do you, or your children accompanying you, have any allergies to pets/foods/environments?
Do you, or your children accompanying you, have any other requirements not covered above?*
Is there any other information that you think may be relevant or helpful in my preparation and consultation with you?

General Information

Your partner and children are welcome to attend the consultation with you, and partners can often greatly help/enjoy the process.

If consultation is at my house:
Please be aware we have a dog, a cat and two budgies. The dog will be away in his kennel well prior to the consultation and away from sight, however he may bark upon your arrival. If you would also prefer the cat and or budgies (caged) are out of the room definitely, this is not an issue either, please advise below. Your comfort and safety is of uptmost concern to me.

Hires

I have a range of carriers which you can hire from me at the following rates.

At time of consultation or up to 2months after:

$5/week/carrier, with bond ($20 for carrier < $100 value, $40 for carrier > $100 value)

Non consultation hires, or after 2 months

$10/first week and $5/week thereafter ($40 for carrier < $100 value, $60 for carrier > $100 value), this includes a quick demo.

Payment:

Deposit of $20 due at least 2 working days prior to consultation.

Please pay in full (Carrier Bundles, consultation portion due) prior to consultation to either:

If you would like to discuss alternate payment methods, such as barter/exchange of services etc please add this in extra info above.

Cancellations:

If you know you can't make any appointment please let me know as soon as you know, I will have organised childcare/travel/venue etc to suit your consultation.

For all cancellations less than 24hours prior, a $20 fee will still apply to help cover some of these costs.

I do have a family and understand that sometimes children suddenly get sick etc, and I am happy to hold this fee as part payment if you reschedule within 3weeks of original booking.

Qualifications:

I am qualified to assist you, having completed NZ Slingababy’s Babywearing Consultant course April 2017, and completed my final Slingababy Qualification in March 2018. You can find further information about my Qualification and course provider here:

I have also done the Slingababy Peer Supporter Course and volunteered at our local sling library since April 2016.

Insurance:

I am insured through my accrediation with Babywearing Educators NZ and IICT and can provide confirmation on request.

All information you provide me with will be treated with complete confidence, and will not be shared with anyone else.
