Student Parking Agreement
By signing this application form, you agree to park in the designated parking lot given within the semesters you applied for.
Vehicles will be towed at the owner of the vehicles expense when:
· Any single vehicle taking up multiple parking spaces
· Vehicle is over the parking lines
· Vehicle is on the parking lines
· Vehicle is not pulled all the way forward inside the parking box, meaning the vehicle is sticking out of the parking box causing an obstruction to the flow of traffic in the parking lot
· Vehicle is parked in the lanes of traffic flow areas causing other vehicles to not be able to move in or out of the parking lot
· Vehicles that are double parked
· Vehicles that are blocking the entry or exits of the parking lot(s), and or other obstructions that would cause other occupants to not be able to park their vehicles in the lot
· Vehicles that are not registered to park in The Art Academy of Cincinnati designated parking areas
· Vehicles that do not have the proper parking permits (sticker with assigned parking number) displayed clear on the vehicles front window will be towed at the owner of the vehicles expense.
Any occupant caught sharing parking passes with other vehicles that have not applied for parking passes will have their parking agreement terminated and that occupant will forfeit their parking application to the next student on the waiting list.
All vehicles in designated Art Academy parking lots shall be driven and handled at the risk of the owner thereof, and any person driving in said vehicle shall, and agrees to, be the agent or employee of the owner of said vehicle.
It is the responsibility of the occupant to notify the parking administrator if their documented vehicle they used for their assigned parking is being replaced by another vehicle. The occupant must provide the new vehicles make, model, color, license plate number and estimated time of which they will be using this new vehicle to the parking administrator. If the occupant fails to notify the parking administrator of the change in vehicles, the occupant will be towed at the owner of the vehicles expense.
The 1217 Walnut parking lot is in partnership with Urbansites. AAC parkers have 24/7 access to the 1217 Walnut parking lot. From 6:00pm to 6:00am, the 1217 Walnut lot becomes open to the community for paid parking via parking app. Students with an AAC parking pass are able to park in the lot any time of the day, including the 6:00pm-6:00am time slot for community paid parking. If the lot becomes full at any time of the day and you are a registered AAC permit parker, bring your car to the front of the school in the loading zone and contact the security front desk via phone number or in person. They will contact the parking administrator and will tell you were to temporarily park your vehicle until the lot is open.
Once you have received verification of obtaining an AAC parking spot, you have 30 days from the first day of school beginning of the semester (Fall or Spring) to request a refund application. The occupant requesting a refund will then only have to pay for the time the parking pass has been given to said occupant. Any occupant requesting a refund from the AAC parking pass after 30 days from the start of the academic semester will not be able to request a refund.
If your parking spot requires a parking tag, badge, clicker, keycard, or any other form of parking verification (not including the parking sticker) it is your responsibility to maintain said parking tag, badge, clicker, keyacard, or any other form of parking verificiation and your responsibility to return the parking tag, badge, clicker, keycard, or any other form of perking verification that was given to your by AAC back in working order before the due date assigned. Failure to return form of parking verification (not the sticker) will result in a $55.00 fine to replace the parking tag/ badge, clicker, or key card.
The Art Academy of Cincinnati is not responsible or liable for any damage or injury to the occupant, or any other person, or to any property, or vehicle(s) occurring on or at the parking space(s).
The Art Academy of Cincinnati is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any property left in any vehicle while in, or being driven to and from, said parking spaces(s) or adjacent areas in the parking lot.
The occupant is responsible for paying the amount owed to The Art Academy of Cincinnati on time. Upon failure to pay when due the said sums as required herein or upon failure to observe any of said rules and regulations, the parking administrator shall have the right at any time to terminate this parking agreement and the occupant will forfeit their parking application to the next student on the waiting list.
