Please report the number of directly certified students that were enrolled in sites participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) as of October 31, 2017.
- Prepare enrollment file on Oct. 31, 2017
- This count should be completed after the direct certification process is completed in November and all possible directly certified students have been identified. Use the Data for Verification Report for the number of direct certification matches.
- Include all students eligible by extension in all categories (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid-Free and Medicaid Reduced-Price.)
- Sites participating in Special Provision programs (CEP and P2) will report on SNAP numbers
- If a student's eligibility is based on the household receiving benefits in multiple programs, count the student only once in the highest ranking program:
1. SNAP
2. TANF
3. Medicaid-Free
4. Medicaid-Reduced Price
If a student is also eligible due to Migrant, Runaway, Foster, Homeless, Head Start, FDPIR, or state-sponsored Pre-K and the household is receiving SNAP benefits, include the student in the count of SNAP eligible children. (SNAP is first in the priority of programs.)
This report is due November 15, 2017.
