Once your order is confirmed you will receive an official invoice via email. Your order is confirmed once a 50% non-refundable retainer is paid.

1. There is a rush fee for orders placed with 14 days or less notice: starts at $150

2. Your order is not confirmed until a 50% non-refundable retainer is paid.

3. Immediate payment is due for orders placed with less than two weeks notice.

Custom cakes are either 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling or 3 layers of cake with 2 layers of filling. A traditional cake serving is considered 1.5 inch x 2 inch x 4 inch. Custom cakes from Mary Butler's Granddaughter are generally 5 to 6 inches tall.

Dessert cakes are 2- 3 layers of cake with a standard height of 4 inches tall. Heart shaped cakes are 2 layers of cake and 1 layer of filling with the standard height of 4 inches tall.

All cakes and fillings are made from scratch with fresh, high quality ingredients.

Dessert cakes (cakes without any decorations) start at $145.

Terms and Conditions
Payment is required within 24 hours of invoice to secure the date. Failure to pay the invoice within 24 hours shall lead to cancellation of the invoice. Please note that your order is not confirmed until the non-refundable retainer is paid.

For orders $250.00 and under, full payment is due upon invoice. For orders over $250.00, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due within 24 hours of invoice to secure the date. The remaining 50% is due 14 calendar days prior to pick up/delivery. Failure to pay the remaining balance 14 calendar days prior to pick up/delivery shall lead to a surcharge of 3% of the total dollar amount of the order for each day over the 14 day due date. Orders not paid in full by 7 days of the pick up/delivery date shall lead to cancellation of the order and no refund will be given. You (Customer) are solely and wholly responsible to pay the remaining balance 14 calendar days prior to pick up/delivery. Mary Butler's Granddaughter will not provide a reminder for payment.

For orders placed 14 or less days prior to pick up/delivery, full payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IF ORDER IS CANCELLED BY CUSTOMER. If Mary Butler's Granddaughter is unable to complete the order, a full refund will be given to customer.

For cakes that are picked up. The pick up date and time are arranged at time of invoice. Failure to pick up at required time without previous arrangements shall lead to a forfeiture of order with no refund given.

For cakes that are delivered. The delivery date and time will be arranged at time of invoice. If upon delivery by Mary Butler's Granddaughter, the venue, room, florist or any other entity that would prevent delivery/set-up, is not available within 15 minutes of the arranged delivery time, a $2 per minute charge will be assessed to the customer. The fee shall be paid by the customer prior to cake being released by Mary Butler's Granddaughter. This is not a guarantee that Mary Butler's Granddaughter will wait for said vendors to complete the delivery. Mary Butler's Granddaughter reserves the right to deliver the cake/good even if the complete set-up cannot be accomplished due to situations out of control of Mary Butler's Granddaughter.

Equipment rental: equipment includes but is not limited to cake stand, plateau, acrylic tiers. There is a $200 refundable fee per item to secure the rental. Equipment is to be returned to Mary Butler’s Granddaughter Cake Design within 3 calendar days of the event in the same condition that was presented to customer. Failure to return within 3 calendar days shall lead to a $15 per day per item fee which is to be deducted from the total deposit amount. In the event that the equipment is damaged, Mary Butler's Granddaughter Cake Design reserves the right to refuse damaged equipment and retain the full deposit.

Any changes to order may incur an additional charge.
