New Monies (cash) means requested additional institutional funds that are not already existing in the operating budget.
Budgeted monies (including salaries) means monies from the existing operating budget to be assigned to support the project.
In-Kind (facilities, equipment, etc.) means contributions (such as equipment or materials) or services of recognized value that are offered in lieu of cash to support the project.
Matching indirect costs mean unrecovered indirect costs that are used to satisfy cost-sharing requirements.
Once this form is submitted, it will be routed via Adobe Sign to obtain the necessary approval signatures. A final copy of the signed Final Grant Proposal Routing Form will be provided via email.
Appropriate administrators certify general approval with the technical merit of the proposal; alignment with goals of the College/School/Division/University; allocation of institutional resources; compliance with university and sponsor policies; and fiscal budgeting.
Additional approvals required if proposed project requires institutionalization, sustainability, change to the mission or is over $25,000.
