    • Have a personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ. Pursue God by seeking His will and direction through prayer and reading the Bible
    • Have a love for children and concern for their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Maintain a positive and loving attitude towards them, even when they are challenging.

    • Be present with one another, intentionally build relationships and maintain team unity and inclusion.
    • Treat cell phones as only a tool, keep them stored away and off, if possible.
    • Participate in all program activities with enthusiasm and keep a good attitude. Avoid complaining or arguing and provide feedback to leaders privately, after an activity.
    • Maintain appropriate, observable 1 on 1 interactions and respectful physical touch with campers (camper initiated hugs, hand on shoulder etc.). Avoid tickling and wrestling. Any touch should always be for the benefit of the minor or camper– never for the emotional needs of you, an adult or staffer.
    • Communicate with the camp’s leadership about any problems or concerns with campers or staff. Report to camp leadership any perceived threats or abuse of children.
    • Maintain appropriate dress. No cleavage or butt showing. No speedos, bikini tops or bikini bottoms. Sports bra style / swim shorts okay.

    • Follow the schedule and arrive on time. Respect curfew & lights out times.
    • Treat others with kindness & respect and never gossip or talk badly about others. Avoid commenting on or comparing camper's or staff member’s bodies or appearance.

    • Activities, pranks and/or jokes should always be to the benefit of the campers
    • Find the nurse for all injuries and concerns (headaches, allergies, bleeding, cuts, vomiting, etc.)
    • Counselors stay out of kitchens. Support Staff should only be in the kitchen when working.
    • Take care of your body. Maintain sufficient sleep, water, food, regular showering, brushing teeth and applying deodorant. Communicate your needs with your leaders so they can support you.

Outside of camp, continue to live a life that honors God, with all you do and say. Maintain relationships of emotional, spiritual and physical integrity that glorify God.
