Recruiting quality students to attend Grambling State University is a key goal of GUNAA. Our chapters across the country are dedicated to implementing creative ways to recruit quality students to our Alma Mater.
This award recognizes the chapter that has most significantly advanced the recruiting goals of Grambling State University through its participation in creative and far reaching recruiting initiatives.
The criteria for selecting the winning chapter are:
- Recruting Fairs
- Participation in GSU High School Day
- Hosting of ACT/SAT Prep Sessions
- Advertisement of recruiting initiatives in any media format (i.e., newspaper, social media, or newsletters)
- Recruiting students (not at college/career fair)
- Any other significant areas of consideration
The winning chapter will be announced at the GUNAA Academy Awards Gala during the 2017 National Convention and presented a $500 check to be used for future recruiting initiatives. In addition, and the chapter’s names will be engraved on a perpetual plaque located at the National Office.
All chapters are encouraged to apply for this award.
