Q: At what age can my child be baptized?
A: Children age 5 and above can be baptized. Regardless of the age, baptism is for those who are old enough to understand the meaning of Jesus being their Savior. We never want this to be done prematurely as baptism is not necessary for our eternal salvation. It is an outward sign of an inward commitment to Christ. If your child is younger than 5, we would suggest that you get your child dedicated. Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Please bring a pair of dark, knee length shorts, a towel, flip flops, and undergarments. We will provide this t-shirt as your gift from us.
Q: Where should I go when it is time to be baptized?
A: At the end of service, the speaking pastor will call for anyone who wants to be baptized. Please follow the people with the baptism signs to the baptism hallway.
Q: When do baptisms normally occur?
A: Baptisms normally happen at the beginning of every month.
Q: Do I need anything after I get baptized?
A: After you are baptized, we will give you your certificate. You may also keep your baptism t-shirt as a gift.
Q: Do I need to be baptized to be saved?
A: Baptism does not save you, but it is an outward expression of your inward commitment to Christ.
Q: Do I have to be a member to become baptized?
A: No, you do not have to be a member of Grace to become baptized.
