SAN FRANCISCO'S SALUTE TO VETERANS PARADE ENTRY APPLICATION

Location: San Francisco, California - Fisherman's Wharf Area

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is again honored to organize the 106th San Francisco Salute to Veterans Parade. The first was held in 1919 to honor the San Franciscans of the 363rd Infantry Regiment of the 91st Division upon their return from France after the end of World War I. We invite you to be part of the parade or to support this event in any way you can. And after the parade, you can enjoy all of the great things to do at Fisherman's Wharf.

The parade will again be held at Fisherman’s Wharf and start on the Embarcadero at North Point Street, proceed west on Jefferson Street, pass the reviewing stand on Jefferson Street near Leavenworth, and then disband.

Please read the entry requirements and guidelines. Complete the official entry application by October 17. You will receive a notification that your application has been accepted and approved. Prior to the parade, you will receive a map with your lineup location, your unit number, a parking pass, and other information. And thank you for your past support.

With this understanding, I/we further agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the parade committee, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Upbeat Parade Productions, LLC, the City and County of San Francisco, its Boards, its Commissions and their respective officers, agents, contractors and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries, suits, and judgments arising from, or in connection with/my successors, assigns, heirs, executors and administrators, and any other persons or entity's who/which may have a claim based on my/our personal injuries and/or property damage. I/we further understand and agree that this saves harmless. Indemnification shall apply to all facilities that the parade committee, Veterans of Foreign Wars, City and County of San Francisco may own and/or control. I/We understand that segments of the media will be present at the parade and I/We grant an unconditional release for all rights of publications, press, radio and television present and future, along with all video and photographic rights by virtue of their appearance.
