Ansar Youth Association Voter Registration Form

In order to vote on matters pertaining to either AYA or AYA UofA a person must meet the requirements and register at least 1 week prior to an election or General Body Meeting. Once registered a person will remain registered for a period of 12 months after which time they need to renew their registration.

AYA Voter Eligibility:

To be eligible to vote on matters pertaining to AYA a General Member (anyone aged 12 +) must either:

a. Donate their time by serving as an active Volunteer Member, Leadership Team Member or Advisory & Oversight Committee Member for at least 10 hours over the past 12 months.

OR

b. Donate their money by paying a nominal annual membership fee of $20 at least 1 week prior to the election.

AYA UofA Voter Eligibility:

To be eligible to vote on matters pertaining to AYA UofA a person must be a registered student or faculty member at the UofA. ALL registered UofA students and faculty members will be eligible to vote on matters pertaining to AYA UofA regardless if they meet the aforementioned eligibility requirements to vote on matters pertaining to the larger AYA organization
