    Our Referral partners are part of a paid membership with expertise in various industries and disciplines including accounting, insurance, business consulting, web design, graphic design, law etc.

    Our Business Advisors frequently refer our clients to Referral Partners for services beyond the scope of the BACD.  We trust that as a member of this network, you will follow up with these referrals as soon as you can and assist them with their needs for their business.

    Criteria for being a member of the Referral Partner Program:

    • 3 years in business
    • Current Website, logo and social media profiles
    • Client testimonials
    • Up to date headshot and biography
    • $250.00 +HST per year, Jan - Dec.                                                                  

    Please note: Your services do not fall under BACD services, as such you will be responsible for discussing pricing and service delivery directly with the referred business.

    Benefits of the Referral Partner Program:

    • Direct referrals from our Business Advisors - over 600 per year to various categories.
    • Over 500 visits to the Referral Partner Pages per month.
    • Business Bytes Newsletter profile 2 x per year (value $50.00 per time) to over 9,000 newsletter subscribers
    • Social Media Profile - once a year ($50.00 per time)
    • Direct traffic referrals from the BACD website
    • Promotion of your services in BACD workshops and other speaking opportunities.

  • BACD Referral Partner Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement

    The Referral Partner Program is designed to connect you with our clients for services they may require.  In signing this agreement, you agree to provide service to our clients in a timely and professional manner and to advise BACD that you have connected with the client.

    As a member of the Referral Partner Program for the Business Advisory Centre of Durham (BACD), a Division of the Region of Durham, I acknowledge that I will be assisting BACD clients' with their businesses, and in this role I will have access to their private and confidential information.

    I agree to respect all BACD's clients' privacy and hereby acknowledge that the information received or generated, directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation is confidential.

    I agree:

    • Not to disclose any financial information, business plans, strategies, or proposals for development or growth, or any other proprietary information not generally known to the public or in the public domain, relating in any way to the business or the participant, or any other information regarding the management or method of operation of the business or its employees; and
    • Not copy or reproduce, in any form, any and all information provided to me by the participant for the purpose of distribution or use outside the scope of the Program, and that all documentation provided to me will be returned to the participant, unless otherwise approved, in writing, by the participant.
       

    I voluntarily enter into this Agreement, with full knowledge of its meaning, and without duress.
