NW MARKETPLACES MEMBERSHIP FORM

Welcome to Northwest Marketplaces, proud organizers of Seattle's favorite marketplaces like the Fremont Sunday Market, SLU Saturday Market, Magnuson Park Market and Mobile Food Rodeo for 28 years.

If you are interested in participating in any of our local markets, please fill out our on-line membership form today to be eligible for participation. You are allowed to vend twice at the Fremont Sunday Market before getting a membership, but all interested in SLU Saturday Market must have a membership to be juried in and approved. Membership does not guarantee placement at either market, but allows for priority placement and reservations based on availability per weekend. Daily booth fees still required.

Market Rules and Waiver: Please read each of the following, check the waiver and sign the agreement below.

While this mebership serves all of our markets, we do use Fremont Sunday Market, due tio being our only year round marketplace. We do our best to keep the vendor policy as clear as possible, but may vary based on size and location. thanks for your cooperation.

LOAD IN:

Pull up on right, turn off engine, immediately unload, go to designated vendor parking, THEN set up. 5 minutes on street is target.

NO CARS:

No cars are allowed on the street after 9:45 am or before closing. Obey traffic monitors at all times.

CUSTOMER ACCESS

Pick up at West or East end by flags. Ask street monitor for Loading Dollies

NO EARLY BREAKDOWN:

You are required to stay the entire day. In case of emergency, obtain Market Staff assistance.

BREAKDOWN PROCESS

Breakdown and pack up BEFORE you go get your car. Again - 5 minutes on the street is the target.

NO PETS

No vendor pets are allowed on site. This is an insurance issue. No exceptions other than certified assistance animals.

NO TRACE

Clean your space. Leave no trace. Take it home with you. Broken glass - NEVER put in garbage, ask staff for help disposing. NO DUMPING OF ANY KIND (Ice, Liquids, oils etc)

NO OOZING

Keep your display within one foot of all booth lines, no more.

SIDEWALKS CLEAR

Wheelchair access must be easy along entire sidewalk area, both sides of street. DO NOT BLOCK

PARKING

NO parking on public streets. The Market provides free parking in designated areas. Check with staff for passes. Willful disregard of this policy = a $50 fine.

Licenses

To be a member of Northwest Marketplaces, you must have a Washington State UBI and a Seattle City Business License. Members are responsible for keeping these up to date and the Market informed of any changes.

CANOPIES

All canopies must have a minimum of 20 pounds of weight firmly attached to EACH leg of the canopy or no canopy roof can be allowed.

PRODUCT POLICIES

No prepared foods are allowed without permit and Market approval. No brand name retail, financial services, health or treatment services, realty, franchises or their DBA"s including MLM products. Dollar store merchandise, knockoffs, and such types of imports will be discouraged and verified, if we feel that they are stolen goods. ALL FOOD PRODUCTS are restricted due to Health Department regulations and require written application and interview.

WEAPONS

NO firearms of any description are allowed. Products with blades require manager approval.

OTHER PRODUCT RESTRICTIONS

No sales of pets allowed. No pornography, or offensively smelly items. Presence of stolen goods = immediate expulsion. No sales of any marijuana products in any form are allowed.

RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We reserve the right to disallow the sale of any items we deem unsafe, illegal or undesirable. We reserve the right to refuse service or to terminate membership and participation for any reason.

WAIVER & RELEASE *

I waive my right to sue, and agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Fremont Sunday Market, Piranha Blonde Inc, City of Seattle, Interdyme Inc, Mobile Food Rodeo; its owners, employees and agents, harmless from lawsuits brought by myself, or my heirs, from and against any and all liability, loss and expense (including reasonable legal fees) or claims for injury or damages now or in the future that may arise out of my use of the marketplace"s facilities, including but not limited to the parking garage, street space, Burke Building lots, and U-Park lots, or out of my participation in Fremont Market programs or event services.
