We're happy to rent our facility to scouting groups, church groups and other official youth groups with supervision from a responsible adult. Please note that we will verify the info about your organization before we approve your reservation.

Rental Rate: $6 per person per night. The minimum charge is $30.

Example, a Troop with 25 campers using the camp for 2 nights = $300.

Rental Period: Camp 175 rents by the night. Your rental begins at 10 a.m. on your check-in date and you must leave the facility by 10 a.m. on your check-out date to make room for the next group.

Day rentals: If you want to reserve Camp 175 for a 1-day activity that runs past 10 a.m., please select the following day as your check-out date.

Example: Troop 134 wants to have a kayaking class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 7. They would rent from July 7 to July 8 even if they're not staying overnight.

About the Facilities
- The Adirondacks hold a total of 60 bunks.
- The Mess Hall will accommodate up to 55 campers for meals.
- Electric stoves and refrigerators are available for food preparation.
- The camp has no running water, showers or flush toilets. There are 3 latrines.
- Water is hand-pumped from a 120-foot-deep well and must be carried 150 feet to the mess hall for cooking and washing.
Camp 175 Rules
- Cleaning: Please leave the camp even cleaner than you found it.
- Trash: Bag and haul your trash with you when you leave.
- Mess Hall: Please follow all instructions posted on the interior wall near the front door.
- Latrines: Do not put lime in the latrines. We maintain these facilities.
Responsibility

All groups must be properly supervised by adults. The responsible adult(s) must remain with the group at Camp 175 during the rental period. The adult renting the campsite and the responsible adult listed on the reservation form are responsible for the actions of the group and for any damage they might cause.

Getting the Keys

You will need keys to unlock the gate to Camp 175 and the Mess Hall. After submitting your reservation and payment, we will make arrangements for you to pick up the keys or get them by mail.

Power Outage?

Please call Cobb EMC @ 770-429-2100 if the power is out. The address is 175 Charlie Gowing Way, Acworth, GA 30102 (off of Kellogg Creek Road).

Maintenance Issues?

Find Something Suspicious?

Please report any suspicious activity to the Cherokee County Authorities by calling 911. Our Camp Ranger has close ties to the local authorities and they know where to go when you mention Boy Scout Camp 175.

About PayPal

We use PayPal to handle electronic payments but you don’t need a PayPal account. You can pay with a credit/debit card. Just click the Submit button, then on the PayPal login page click “Pay with debit or credit card.”

Note: PayPal charges a small fee to process credit card payments, so they will add this fee to the total of your rental amount.
