About the Facilities
- The Adirondacks hold a total of 60 bunks.
- The Mess Hall will accommodate up to 55 campers for meals.
- Electric stoves and refrigerators are available for food preparation.
- The camp has no running water, showers or flush toilets. There are 3 latrines.
- Water is hand-pumped from a 120-foot-deep well and must be carried 150 feet to the mess hall for cooking and washing.
Camp 175 Rules
- Cleaning: Please leave the camp even cleaner than you found it.
- Trash: Bag and haul your trash with you when you leave.
- Mess Hall: Please follow all instructions posted on the interior wall near the front door.
- Latrines: Do not put lime in the latrines. We maintain these facilities.
Responsibility
All groups must be properly supervised by adults. The responsible adult(s) must remain with the group at Camp 175 during the rental period. The adult renting the campsite and the responsible adult listed on the reservation form are responsible for the actions of the group and for any damage they might cause.
Getting the Keys
You will need keys to unlock the gate to Camp 175 and the Mess Hall. After submitting your reservation and payment, we will make arrangements for you to pick up the keys or get them by mail.
Power Outage?
Please call Cobb EMC @ 770-429-2100 if the power is out. The address is 175 Charlie Gowing Way, Acworth, GA 30102 (off of Kellogg Creek Road).
Maintenance Issues?

Find Something Suspicious?
Please report any suspicious activity to the Cherokee County Authorities by calling 911. Our Camp Ranger has close ties to the local authorities and they know where to go when you mention Boy Scout Camp 175.
