  • Kei hea: Two (hikoi) will occur around Hatea Loop, and one in Tikipunga

  • Wahi tikanga/ important information

    Please ensure all tamariki bring packed lunches, water bottles, sun hat/ sun lotion/ any medication required, rain coat and warm clothes in case it rains. There are designated areas along the hikoi for tamariki to sit, rest and eat if need be.

    Due to part of the hikoi being alongside the main road on riverside, it is important Educators have catered for adult/ child ratios. We trust kōrero will also occur beforehand around safety and road-wise with your rōpu.

    While Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood NZ will ensure safety aspects have been identified and shared prior to event. We take no responsibility for any liability that may occur during the event.

    If the hikoi is cancelled due to weather conditions, or for any other reason, we will notify you via email which has been included in this forrm.

    Our hikoi has been registered with taura Whiri i te reo Māori, Wellington Office. Photo's and video footage taken from the hikoi event will be shared with Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori. They may include images on their website, or within advertising.
