The VOCA Chorus of Toronto, now in its 33rd season, is a dynamic ensemble which has been under the leadership of Jenny Crober since 2004. In collaboration with a wide variety of superb guest artists, VOCA has performed a vast range of repertoire, including the 2018 Canadian premiere of Dreamweaver, a major work for choir and orchestra by one of the world's most prominent choral composers, Ola Gjeilo.
This concert will feature an eclectic mix of selections celebrating stars and the night sky, including a world premiere by the renowned Cree composer, Andrew Balfour.
The concert features connections to World Music Studies, the instrumental program as well as musical composers.
