At yogajoy, it is our goal to make our teacher trainings accessible to all students. A scholarship fund has been generously funded by donations made by other students and community members. Scholarships can only be provided when funds are available.
At yogajoy, we prioritize Work-Trade Scholarships. It is very helpful for us to know of the skills you can offer. Please thoroughly answer the questions at the end of this application to help us better understand your skill set.
To apply for a scholarship, please complete the following form and submit all required documentation (listed below). You can submit these documents to trainings@sarahjoyyoga.com or mail copies to 5210 SW Corbett Ave.
Portland, OR 97239. Do not send originals of your financial documents. They will not be returned.
In addition to the application, the following documents will be required to complete our review of your application:

Copies of the last two pay stubs from all employers for each applicant.

The first two pages of your prior year 1040 (if self-employed, include your Schedule C).
If you do not have your 1040, please call 1-800-829-1040.
If applicable, please also include any of the following documentation:

If you receive any SSI or RSDI, your most recent award statement.

Alimony and/or child support income documentation.
