The most important... Let's start with goals. Let's hear them.. short term, long term, easily attainable, seemingly unattainable. Nutrition, training, life.... anything. Where do you want to be in xxx months, years?
Do you feel there are any "obstacles" that have, or are currently, holding you back from reaching your goals??
If you are interested in competing, tell us why? Have you competed before? What did you think? Are you planning to compete again? If so, when? in what class? What has drawn you to the sport?
What has your diet been like recently? What is a typical day of eating like?
Diet-wise, what are some things that you do well with? What are some things that you struggle with?
Have you done anything, as far as "diets" go, in the past? Any input or feedback from any of these?
What weight do you generally sit at? What seems to be your body's comfortable weight?
Do you have any allergies? Anything of that nature that we should know about?
Are you currently taking any supplements on a regular basis? If so, what?
Have you used any sort of nutrition tracker like MyFitnessPal, or similar? Would you be open to using it if not?
How do you feel about your current body composition? What do you like? What would you like to change?
What is your current daily activity level like? Tell me about a typical day! Training, Cardio, Job, Activities, anything? Does this change on the weekends??
Are you currently training? If so, can you tell me a bit about your actual training? Structure, split, rep ranges, things you focus on, things that you love, things that you hate.... best lifts, lifts that you would like to improve. Aches, pains, etc. etc. etc. What gets you pumped up and excited to train??!!
How about stress? Where would you rate your current stress levels? Anything in particular causing excessive stress?
We implement a very flexible pricing structure, as we feel that there are many variables and circumstances outside of your control that may stop you from reaching your goals. We would prefer to do what we can to make sure that financial reasons were not one of them, so... Have you used a coach or trainer before? If so, was the cost holding you back? What would be comfortable for you to invest into your fitness journey? Be open and honest here.
