Schlow's Event Space Policy lists the rules for events held here at the Library. Below are some important points we always bring up first.
You must be
at least 18 years old
to reserve a room and run an event.
Our spaces are open to events of a cultural, educational, and civic nature that are
free of charge and open to the general public.
Our spaces are
not open to commercial, fundraising, or private events.
While there is no mandatory fee to use the room, there is a suggested $25 donation per room use.
If you want to use the Community Room's audiovisual equipment, there is a required $10 fee per use.
Each group can reserve a space
twice a month.
Valid credit card information, collected in lieu of a deposit in case of extreme cleaning or damage, will be required before an event is finalized. No charges would ever be made without prior contact with you.
