ACG School Jakarta provides a bus service to cater the needs of families whose children attend ACG School Jakarta. The School provides busses fitted with seat belts and our drivers have been trained in first aid, safety and emergency procedures. All effort has been made to accommodate all our students’ needs. This school bus service is available to take students to and from school and students attending officially listed after school activities.

Calling the driver when on the road is not encouraged as will disturb the driver.

School Bus rules
The School wants to ensure all students are safe and happy on the school bus. Daily bus reports are generated for school use only; any behavior issues will be reported to the Principal. After collecting 2 yellow cards, students will receive a red card and as a result will not be able to travel on the bus for 1 week.

Service not used as a result of suspension is non-refundable.

Fees are non-refundable.

Students are expected to be ready at their own designated pick-up point on time.

For the morning pick-up the driver will only wait 3 minutes. This is very important as our busses must arrive at school on time to start the school day. Please respect drivers and other passengers by arriving on time.

School Buses shall not carry unauthorized passengers.

All students traveling on School Buses shall be required to conform to rules relative to travel and behavior on a school bus as follows:

Chaperone is responsible – please listen and respect them
Wear safety belt
Be kind to each other
Hands to yourself
QUiet voices as do not want to disturb driver
Older students act responsibly
Belongings stay in bag until you get to school or home

Drop off and Pick Up routine
All students will be dropped off and depart from the school bus drop off and pick-up points

School Bus Route, Chaperone
The School shall be responsible for rostering of buses and establishing bus routes. Each bus driver shall be provided with a list of names and addresses of all children rostered to travel on that bus.

Each bus shall carry one adult chaperone.

Chaperones are responsible for the behavior on the bus, attending to needs of younger children, ensuring safety procedures, and minimizing disturbances to the driver to allow him to concentrate on his driving and road safety.

Change of address/Cancellation of Service / Other Details
Kindly inform Mr Rey (syahrul.reyhan@acgedu.com) and please cc our Transport Coordinator Mr Zul (zulkarnaen.zulkarnaen@acgedu.com) in your correspondence, 1 month prior to the effective pick up date in the new address.

Change to Drop-Off Service on a given day
If there are changes to your son/daughter’s daily routines (i.e absence, early pick up from school), please inform us at http://bit.ly/acgjktbuschanges to ensure we provide our transport staff with the most up-to-date information. This will give sufficient time to notify class teachers, drivers and chaperones of the change.
Kindly alert us by 9.00am for afternoon drop off and 3.00pm for next morning pick up changes

Note: It will not be possible to switch to an earlier/later bus in such circumstances, as the schedule have been set.
