IMPORTANT JURY PIANIST INFO:
All juries are expected to be held after the last day of classes during finals week.
Up to 5 service hours will be be given by the pianist (including rehearsals, lessons, studio recitals, all associated SOM performances and the jury itself.
Performances limited to only the jury will not exceed 3 service hours.
If communication with the pianist is not established in a timely manner (no later than 4 weeks before the last day of classes), the pianist may withdraw collaborative services
The first rehearsal with the pianist should happen no later than 3 weeks before the jury, and earlier if the jury piece will be performed at a studio recital
It is not permitted to use all of the allotted pianist hours within one week – this creates schedule overload for the pianist working with multiple people
At least one lesson with the instructor must be scheduled before any public performances (studio class, studio recital, or jury)
At least one rehearsal with the pianist must be scheduled before playing in lesson with the instructor
