Jury and Studio Pianist Request Form

All requests for Fall 2025 must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, September 12th
IMPORTANT JURY PIANIST INFO:

All juries are expected to be held after the last day of classes during finals week.

Up to 5 service hours will be be given by the pianist (including rehearsals, lessons, studio recitals, all associated SOM performances and the jury itself.

Performances limited to only the jury will not exceed 3 service hours.

If communication with the pianist is not established in a timely manner (no later than 4 weeks before the last day of classes), the pianist may withdraw collaborative services

The first rehearsal with the pianist should happen no later than 3 weeks before the jury, and earlier if the jury piece will be performed at a studio recital

It is not permitted to use all of the allotted pianist hours within one week – this creates schedule overload for the pianist working with multiple people

At least one lesson with the instructor must be scheduled before any public performances (studio class, studio recital, or jury)

At least one rehearsal with the pianist must be scheduled before playing in lesson with the instructor

*As soon as dates/times/venues are announced for your area, please coordinate with your pianist to sign up for a specific jury time slot.

*Adding any additional pieces to the original request after the deadline is closed cannot be accommodated

You may upload your pdfs here or send them to music.collab.piano@ttu.edu If you are submitting a hard copy, place in the mailbox of Becca Zeisler in the second floor mailroom. If scores are not received within 24 hours of pianist request submission, your request will not be considered.

IMPORTANT: after pressing submit, all parties should receive a PDF copy of this form via e-mail. Please check your mailbox - if you did not receive a copy immediately, the form did not submit and must be filled out again. For any claims of submission you will need to provide a copy of the email confirmation.

You will be notified about any collaborative piano service arrangements within two weeks of the request submission deadline. There is no guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.
