  • Let us help you find the right class. School of Dance & Music offers introductory lessons for all of our students either just beginning in Dance or Music or trying to find the right fit for their current skill level.  These intro lessons give our students a risk free way to find the right class for them.  Once the proper class is found this class will count as your first class at registration.  For more information please feel free to give us a call at 310-406-1730

  • 1yr 6mo – 2yrs 9mo +

    (min age by Sept 2025)
  • This 30 min. class is geared toward the little one who wants to dance with mommy (or daddy!) in class. Parent & Me classes are a great way for parents to bond with their kids while letting them explore their creative sides. Each class is Ballet based with a tap / jazz segment at the end. The teacher guides dancers to learn in a way that makes discovering and developing balance, coordination, and listening skills easy and fun! Mommies, wear comfortable shoes and get ready to move with your little dancer! Limited to 7 students per class.

  • 2yrs 6mo – 3yrs 6mo

  • This 30 min. class is geared toward the little one who wants to dance with mommy in class. Mommy & Me classes are a great way for parents to bond with their kids while letting them explore their creative sides. Each class is Ballet based with a tap / jazz segment at the end.   • This 45min. class is Ballet based and includes a tap / jazz segment at the end of each lesson.  Through creative and fun exercises, these young dancers will be able to memorize foundational Ballet, Tap, and Jazz moves and sequences, and will learn basic dance vocabulary that will prepare them for classes taken in years to come. Limited to 10 students per class.

  • 4yrs – 5yrs 6mo

    (min age by Sept 2025)
  • This 45vmin. class is split up between Ballet (approx. 35 minutes) and tap / jazz (approx. 10 minutes). Through creative and fun exercises, these young dancers will be able to memorize foundational Ballet, Jazz, and Tap moves and  sequences, as well as learn basic dance vocabulary that will prepare them for the classes taken in years to come. Limited to 10 students per class.

  • This is a high energy and upbeat dance class in which students focus on coordination, confidence, and rhythm through fun & exciting exercises. Your child will learn to count music, memorize dance steps, and will learn fun choreography to age appropriate, popular music. Join this class to learn the latest dance moves! Limited to 12 students per class

  • 5yrs – 6yrs 6mo

    (min age by Sept 2025)
  • This 45 min. class is split between Ballet, Tap, and Jazz with dancers also beginning to learn exercises at the barre! Through creative and fun exercises, these young dancers will be able to memorize foundational Ballet, Tap, and Jazz moves and sequences, as well as learn basic dance vocabulary that will prepare them for the classes taken in years to come. Limited to 10 students per class.

  • This is a high energy and upbeat dance class in which students focus on coordination, confidence, and rhythm through fun and exciting exercises. Your child will learn to count music, memorize dance steps, and will learn fun choreography to age appropriate, popular music. Join this class to learn the latest dance moves! Limited to 12 students per class.

  • 6yrs – 9yrs

    (min age by Sept 2025)
  • Ballet is the fundamental dance technique as it develops grace, flexibility, strength, and balance. We recommend taking Ballet twice a week or weekly as a fundamental class to support other dance styles like jazz, tap, or hip hop. Ballet students are required to wear appropriate attire (black leotard, pink tights with an optional skirt of any color, and hair in a clean bun).

    *We offer : Ballet/Jazz I, Ballet II, Ballet II+, Ballet III, Ballet VI

  • This is a high energy, upbeat dance class that focuses on coordination, confidence & rhythm. Dancers will learn how to count music and will memorize exciting choreography to age appropriate popular music.

    *We offer : Hip Hop I, Hip Hop II, Hip Hop IIB

  • Tap is a great way to exercise the body as well as the mind! It challenges students to integrate rhythmic patterns using their feet as the instrument. Tap focuses on beat, timing, rhythm, and coordination. As tap students grow and improve they will learn increasingly advanced techniques and intricate combinations.

    *We offer : (Private and semi-private lessons available)

  • Jazz is an energetic class that focuses on core
    strength, flexibility, and technique. It’s Ballet based, so it has a lot of the same fundamentals, but Jazz is high energy and fast paced! Jazz students will work on turns, leaps and will learn a number of new routines to fun songs ranging from pop music to show tunes.

    *We offer : Ballet/Jazz I, Jazz II, Jazz II+, Jazz III, Jazz VI

  • 9yrs – 11yrs 6mo
