DAYCARE/BOARDING EVALUATION APPOINTMENT FOR NEW CLIENTS

EVALUATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW DOGS OVER THE AGE OF 6 MONTHS BEFORE ATTENDING DAYCARE OR BOARDING AT DOG GONE SMART. YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN EVALUATION AS WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-INS THANK YOU!
Please Note

(1) If you have multiple dogs in your family you would like evaluated, you must reserve a separate evaluation appointment for EACH dog as space is limited. It can be the same day, but must be filled out separately. Only dogs with appointments will be permitted at the evaluation. Thanks!

(2) If your dog is UNDER 6 MONTHS they do NOT require an evaluation but still REQUIRE to get set up in our PET PORTAL and a can request a first free daycare reservation appointment in the portal or by calling our reception desk (203) 838-7729

(3) Your dog must be brought to the evaluation by an adult family member who can answer all of our questions about your dog's history

Please when you arrive have good control of your dog from before exiting your vehicle and keep your dog close to you at all times, not letting them interact with other dogs or people. Please make sure your dog is on a securely fit collar or harness and non-retractable leash. We can't wait to meet you and welcome you to the Dog Gone Smart Family!*
Appointment
Daycare/Boarding Evaluations are Meet and Greets for new dogs to establish comfort and evaluate how they will acclimate to our play environment. They take about 30 minutes and if approved you will be eligible to begin attending Daycare and Boarding at Dog Gone Smart. If your dog needs a little more support to start out in such a playful social environment, we will be able to set you up with a socialiazation coach to help set them up for success. We will review with you all of our services and answer any questions you may have about our policies and programs.
If you have filled out your PET PROFILE FORM and just need to UPLOAD VACCINES pleases do so in our VACCINE UPLOAD PORTAL. We must have your vaccines before you arrive for your appointment. Thanks and we look forward to meeting you and your dog!!
