DESCRIPTION
Central Features Contemporary Art, curator Nancy Zastudil, and Independent Curators International (ICI) are partnering to initiate a series of curatorial visits to Albuquerque, NM, with funding provided in part by Common Field, Fulcrum Fund, and The FUNd at the Albuquerque Community Foundation. The inaugural 2018 Visiting Curator Series brings to Albuquerque a select group of curators working in the American Southwest region who will conduct studio visits with multiple local artists over the course of several months, as well as offer mentorship opportunities.

Artists living and working in Albuquerque, NM are eligible.
To Apply
Artists must complete the form below which includes the submission of a short digital portfolio and a statement of needs and expectations from the program.
Selection Process
A shortlist of artists' submissions will be nominated for participation in the Series by a Central Features Special Projects Advisory Council and presented to the ICI curators who, based on their interests, will select artists with whom they would like to conduct studio visits. It is strongly recommended that artists do preliminary research on the curator(s) in order to answer Question #2a in detail.

NOTE: The deadline to apply to meet with Rachel Cook has already passed. This form, and the corresponding March 15 deadline, applies to submissions to meet with the other four curators.
