  • CONDENSED CODE OF CONDUCT

    1. WE ARE BUILT ON RESPECT We expect 3 key ares of respect from our YG Members and Leaders.
      1. Respect Yourself (EVERY PERSON deserved to be respected. Start with yourself)
      2. Respect Others (Respect their ears, their eyes, their being. Think before speaking...Is it TRUTHFUL, Is it HURTFUL, Is it NECESSARY???)
      3. Respect Property (Yours, Ours, & Others...this means CLEANING UP AFTER YOURSELF...throw our your trash!)
    2. THERE IS NO PURPLE /PDA Pink+Blue=Purple. It has been a long-standing motto within the former CYO and the current YG Leadership that There is NO PURPLE/PDA. We do not condone romantic relationships between teens. Our group maintains the philosophy that social relationships formed and maintained during our weekly meetings will end at that...social. We will not allow Public Displays of Affection (PDA) during our events and meetings, including, but not limited to, romantic hugging, kissing, cuddling or touching. If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, considering yourself "just friends" during our group activities. Socialize with others and then re-engage your boyfriend/girlfriend status after our amazing YG events if desired and permitted by your parents/guardians.
    3. NO-TOLERANCE on issues including alcohol, drugs, weapons, violence, sexual misconduct, discrimination, bullying..these are NEVER to be part of our group.
    4. CONFLICT RESOLUTION The Youth Group believes strongly in dealing with conflict in a Christian manner based on Matthew 5:23-25, which tells us to handle matters quickly and directly with the person in question. If a parent or guardian has an issue with another YG Member, or if two members are having difficult times, parents are asked to speak to the youth group director who will then arrange for parents to speak to parents to solve the matter at hand. A parent with an issue in the group should never approach a minor youth group member without first going to the youth group director who will then advise and arrange for parents to speak to parents not children.
    5. DRAMA-FREE ZONE Your Leaders are ALL VOLUNTEERS. We ask all YG Members to realize that and understand that we like to keep drama to a minimum. If you have an issue with another member, keep it out of the group and go back to rule #1...RESPECT...regardless of what your feelings are.

The above is a condensed Code of Conduct, the Full Code of Conduct will be sent home for both YG Members and their parents to sign and return within 2 meetings.

  • We Rely On Your Help

We are a Team committed to your children, we work together to create a fun, safe, motivational, faithful, and social environment for our Members. We are asking you to let us know how you might be able to help. This does not commit you to anything, just gives us the opportunity to reach out when we are scheduling or in need. It takes a village to raise our future generation, and we are villagers...are you?
  • Once you submit your application, you are all set! You will receive communication about our upcoming events and activities. If we require any additional information, we will contact you. You will be required to submit a signed copy of the Emergency Medical & Release Form for our Group. These forms will be printed and available during our meeting, and will be e-mailed to the parent(s) e-mail address(es) listed above if you prefer to print and sign ahead.

    Thank you!
