  • INTRODUCTION TO COACHING

To help you become more familiar and comfortable with the coaching process, here are a few things you can expect from our work together:

    • You set the agenda. Our coaching partnership will be guided by your goals, priorities, and what matters most to you. As your coach, I will help you stay focused and hold you accountable to the commitments you make to yourself.
    • We each have a role. My responsibility is to support, motivate, challenge, and guide you. Your responsibility is to be open to the process and take the actions necessary to create the changes you want in your life.
    • I will ask thoughtful and sometimes challenging questions. I will provide focus and structure, offer perspective, support and encourage you through difficult moments, and celebrate your progress and successes along the way.
    • You may be encouraged to try new approaches. Growth often requires us to look at things differently. At times, I may invite you to experiment with new perspectives, strategies, or actions as you work toward the changes you desire.
    • Coaching has professional boundaries. If an issue arises that falls outside the scope of coaching or my area of expertise, I will encourage you to seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.

    • Your feedback is always welcome. If something I am doing is not helpful—or if there is something I could do differently to better support you—I encourage you to tell me. Open and honest communication strengthens our work together.
    • My Christian faith is the compass that guides my life and shapes my values, morals, and ethics. In my coaching practice, I work with people of many different faiths, denominations, and backgrounds, and I deeply respect each client’s individual beliefs and values. While my faith informs who I am, I will never impose my beliefs on another person. My role as a coach is to meet each client where they are, honor what matters most to them, and support them on their own unique journey.
    • Coaching sessions are approximately one hour. Our time together is most productive when we communicate openly and honestly and remain focused on the goals and priorities that are most important to you.

  • The goal of my coaching is to create a trusting, dynamic partnership that helps you move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Together, we will clarify what matters most to you, explore new possibilities, and identify practical strategies for moving forward. I will support and challenge you as you strengthen personal accountability, take purposeful action, and make meaningful changes—so you can live more fully, pursue your dreams, and accomplish the goals that matter most to you.
