Thank you for offering to foster an animal! To be considered you must:

🐶 Be 21 years of age or older.

🐶 Never abuse any animals.

🐶 If you rent your home you must have a consent from your landlord to have a dog.

🐶 Have all dogs and cats in your home spayed and neutered if they are 8 months or older, unless there is a medical reasons for not doing so, have all the dogs up to date on vaccinations.

🐶 Agree to have a home visit done by one of our volunteers if it needs to be done.

🐶 To accept and consider the dog as a household companion, not as an outside pet, and to provide him/her with humane care and treatment, including proper food, water, shelter and exercise, and to give him/her a reasonable amount of time to adjust to new surroundings, at least 2-3 weeks.

🐶 Agree to wear tags when the dog is out in public or outdoors.

🐶 Agree to have the dog reside in the home, not outside.

🐶 Agree to never allow the dog to be left unattended with young children.

🐶 Agree never abuse an adopted/fostered dog and prevent any abuse by others.

🐶 An adopter/foster will give the Dog proper food, water, shelter, grooming and veterinary care to maintain the Dog in good and healthy condition including but not limited to the following: annual and biannual (depending on current veterinary practice) An Adopter will provide routine heartworm medication on a veterinarian approved schedule, along with flea and tick control with products approved for use in canines.

In consideration of the dog and as partial reimbursement of the costs of rescue and in gratitude for the charitable work provided on behalf the homeless pet population adopter agrees to pay an adoption fee, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

Mission Rescue Alliance group spay and neuter all the dogs in it's possation. Should there be any instance where the dog is later found to have not been altered, the Adopter will contact the rescue, have the Dog spayed or neutered, as appropriate, within 30 days of the of the discovery of the fact, or by the age of six months if the dog is younger than six months by the date of this Contract. An adopter will forward evidence of the spaying/neutering to the rescue in the form of a letter from the veterinarian who performed the surgery or a copy of the veterinarian's bill for the surgery within 30 days or up to age of 10 -11 months for puppies.

🐶 As a foster I agree always to discuss and inform the rescue on any health concerns of your foster before any further actions taken unless you are ready to take total responsibility for your foster's well being and vet bills. However even in that case you must inform the rescue Mission Rescue Alliance about any injuries, on course of your actions and dog's health.

🐶 If you failed as a foster for any reason or if we find out that your foster's life is in danger due to negligence, as a rescue organization we exercise our rights to request the dog back to our rescue facility.
