A few notes:
Please do not bring any children along for whom you are not considering HLN next fall. This will help keep our classrooms quiet and orderly.
Students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
We do not have sufficient seating to invite guests to join us at lunch. Please make plans to have lunch off campus from 11:30 to noon.
We know your time is valuable. Here are a few things you can do to be well prepared for and get the most out of your time at HLN.
1) Read through our entire website and parent/student handbook to get a better idea of the vision, culture, and academics of HLN. Parents and students affirm their knowledge of and adherence to the handbook policies at the time of enrollment.
2) Familiarize yourself with the Memoria Press curriculum, www.memoriapress. com, including articles.
3) Review the world-wide community of homeschooling support available to you through the Memoria Press online user forums. This support is available to you 24/7/365 at no cost.
4) Request a free Memoria Press Catalog/Magazine filled with inspiring articles, extended descriptions of curriculum, and a full K-12 view of where MP (and HLN) will take your student. Older students may enjoy reading this as well.
