    If you would like to join our team as a Driver, an Aide or any managerial position, please complete the form below to be considered as an employee of ABC (all information received will remain confidential).

    To be considered for a driver position, the following are required:

    1. A valid NJ driver license with P and S endorsements (passenger & school)

    2. A clear criminal history. 

    To be considered for an aide position, the following are required:

    1. have clear criminal records

    2. be 18 years old

    3. be physically fit to get on the bus

    4. help students (wheelchairs, etc.).

  • To be employed with ABC TRANS you are required to be fingerprinted at Fingerprint Facility. We will be setting up the appointment for you if you did not get fingerprinted. 

     

  • JOB DUTIES

  • Drivers and their aides must comply with rules and regulations set by the State and Commission who coordinate the transportation for the districts.

  • JOB TRAINING

  • The job has a mandatory training (a certificate will be issued after each one):

    1. New Employee Training (onsite)

    2. Fall Training (onsite/online)

    3. Spring Training (online)

    4. Department of Transportation Training (online)

  • As an ABC employee, you are expected to portray excellence and professionalism at all times. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY regarding reckless behavior, drug/alcohol abuse, violence, and other unprofessional behavior. Noting this, if there are any problems that arise, we reserve the right to dismiss employees that do not follow the regulations and rules.
